Chapter 11 Values

Hello, everyone

I am in the beginning of Chapter 11, trying to get the number of months in each year. The book shows
2001 - 6
2002 - 12
2003 - 12
2004 - 12

I am getting 13 for all years. No 6's no 12's

This is my formula:
Total Months in Calendar = COUNTROWS(VALUES('Calendar'[MonthName]))

I am using Power BI (July 2017 update). I made a table visualization and selected "Do not summarize" for both year and month count in the values section.

Any assistance is appreciated!

I fixed the relationship for my calendar table and now I am getting all 12's instead of 13's. Still no 6 for 2001.

(I did all exercises already, but I am fixing relationships now since I am switching from using Access Tables to Queries as the data source. I thought the instructions said to use tables and replace "dim" prefix, but then it seems like column names in examples/exercises refer to the queries i.e. MonthName vs. EnglishMonthName).

Hi Bradley,

I replicated the DAX formula in my Power BI Desktop model (October 2017 update) and I'm getting the correct values. I imported the Dim and Fact tables and the relationships were automatically generated.
