Combine a one month measure with full year one in the same PBI report

Postby luiscu » Thu Sep 22, 2016 4:30 am

Hi,
In a PBI report I need to show a measure calculated for a month selected by the user and at the same time show the evolution of such measure over the year.

Simplified example.
Let's say we have a table of sales by month and a report with three elements/visuals: A slicer to select the month, a measure that shows the sales of the month selected and a graphic that shows the sales over the year.

The problem that I found is that when the user selects the month then the graphic only shows the sales of he month selected. If I all the months ares selected the graphic is OK but the measure no.

Any guess?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Luis

PS: excuse me if the question is trivial. I'm new in DAX and I've tried to find a solution for the forum before posting this Q.
