Create Word Cloud or Similar

Postby a68tbird » Sat Oct 22, 2016 7:03 am

Here's an interesting problem. I have a number of customer checkout surveys that are mostly ratings from 1 to 5 on a handful of questions. But the customers also have the opportunity to leave specific comments. I thought it would be useful to see which words come up most often within these text strings (ie. price, shipping, convenience...). I have a few thousand surveys, and there really isn't a character limit to the comment section. How might I determine common words within these entries? Would I have to split that column into individual words, unpivot and then count? Anyone tried something like this?

Thanks
Travis

Try the word cloud visual for power bi. I assume it works on a text column. It definitely works on a name column
