I am also having this problem and there are no good suggestions online. I have Office 2016 so Power Query is built in. I have tried repairing my Office install with no luck. I am NOT using Power Pivot, only Power Query. I am using a query from Microsoft Access as a connection in Power Query and then building a normal pivot table and loading to the data model based on the external connection I set up in Power Query (meaning the data is not actually loaded IN Excel). I could just connect straight to my data source and bypass the use of Power Query but I sometimes need to transform the data within Excel. Any ideas anyone? Please help!
I've never heard of this. Can you post a short video or screen shot of what is happening?
