Dax formula to lookup value with higher rank

Postby kegoosse » Wed Jun 13, 2018 5:21 pm

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to do the following with PowerPivot (see attachment for example):

I want to create a calculated table that gives 1 of 2 outcomes:

For each value of merged.1:
IF inschrijvingsnummer = 1
AND
IF inschrijvingsnummer = 2 exists for the same merged.1 value
THEN the calculated column gives "A"
ELSE the calculated column gives "B"

Does anyone have an idea how to write this with a DAX formula?
Or can't this be done?

Thanks in advance

Here's one way of doing it. Just replace YourTable with your actual table name.

Thanks a lot. It works, but I just had to remove the NOT.
