How do I update PBI Desktop?

This sounds like a stupid question but I actually have problems with this. When clicking on the update link in the bottom right corner in Power BI desktop I get directed to this page: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-october-2020-feature-summary/ But when clicking on Download Power ...

Question regarding reference periods

Hi, I have a question regarding reference periods: I have made two main measures: Sales and Sales LY where Sales LY is based on Sales with SAMEPERIODLSASTYEAR. Then I've made a ton of measures based on these two. Rolling 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, Sales MTD, rolling 7 days LY, 30 days LY, 90 days LY,...

Dynamic slicer

Hi, I am currently building for our store managers and I have a question regarding whether it is possible to have a dynamic slicer or not. Re: Calculating recurring customers on a rolling basis

And just to make it even clearer: Let's assume that 10 customers purchase something during 1804-1903 and 5 of those come back to buy something in 1904-2003. The number of recurring customers are then 5 which is the number I want to divide with the number of customers during the last 12 month period ...

Calculating recurring customers on a rolling basis

I have a set of data that with two columns: Customer ID; Date. The date column is connected to a Date table. The first date in the set is 2016-01-01 and the last is 2020-03-31. One Customer id can occur more than once (since a customer might do more than one purchase during 2016-01-01 - 2020-03-31)....

Re: Handling different granularities

[i][quote="RamanaV"]The first part of the question - A pivot table showing aggregation of Budget at Range and Department levels. Vending Area is at the 3rd level of hierarchy and the budgets are given at that level. So the defined relationships do not work as required. I have defined the r...

Re: Handling different granularities

Hi, Thanks a lot for your proposed solution. It seems to partly solve my problem even though I don't fully understand it. Why dont I need to use a intermediary tables (such as the table with distinct Vending areas)? And can I also link sales data to this model? The sales data is on product level (al...
