My formula is not agregating correclty on my rank

Hello Forum: I have a table that ranks the costs of machines with a discontented slicer but when I select the slicer to retrieve the topn 5 it brings the correct values however it does not aggregate correctly in the grand total . File is attached . Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

You can use the calculate function like this. Make sure you have a calendar table so you can perform date calculations.


CALCULATE([Total cost],FILTER(ALL('calendartable'),calendartable'[Date]<=MAX(calendartable'[Date])))

HI Mat: Thanks for replying. I need a cal colum because I need to slice my due date vendors per every Friday. Hello: I want to create calculated column where the due date for each invoice from the first column falls always on a Friday. So I am not financial analyst, but I know DAX and I am willing to work this out with you if you can help me understand what needs to be done. My best guess of what you want is to filter out (ignore) anything where Reporting Group 1 = "Profit and Loss" and add up the rest. Is that correct?...
