Re: Row()

This problem can be solved in Power Query before loading the data into the data model. The trick is to use "Nested Index", which I learnt from Matt Allington in his Power Query Online Training course. https://exceleratorbi.com.au/power-query-online-training. Please find the solution in the...

Re: Calculated Columns not refreshing

I don't think you need a calculated column to solve this.
You can merge the data in Power Query before loading it into data model and then it works.

If you are not sure how to do it, please share a sample workbook.
I will show you the solution.

Re: Relationship issue

You can actually merge the data before loading into data model using Power Query (Get Data -> Transform Data).
I have given the solution in the attached workbook
You can see the final data table loaded into Excel

Hope this helps

Re: PowerPivot: Help with conditional split column

Please note that we cannot have such a conditional split (do not split if , is within parenthesis) A better solution is extractin...

Re: Chapter 14 - Repeat Customers

Hi, Good to know that you are able to understand and proceed. To get a good understanding on how DAX formulas work, it would be useful to observe the data keenly. If you look at Sales table, there is a column - SalesOrderNumber, which is essentially an invoice Now, one invoice will have one OrderDat...

Re: Chapter 14 - Repeat Customers

Hi, Calculate the no. of distinct invoices first Distinct No. of Invoices = DISTINCTCOUNT(Sales[SalesOrderNumber]) Now put a Table visual in your report and place Customers[CustomerKey] on Rows and [Distinct No. of Invoices] on Columns You will then see how many invoices each customer has. Next, you...
