Preserving Object Formatting

Postby Jonny1010101010 » Wed Oct 17, 2018 5:26 am

Hi

Im fairly new to Power BI and had two questions on the interface.

Firstly, is there a way, after you have formatted and positioned an object to switch the data to another measure, without having to delete the original object?

Secondly but related, is there a way to quickly 'copy and paste' the formatting of an object onto a new object?

Thanks, Jonny

Hi,

Not sure I entirely follow but does this help>

1. Simply drag the new measure over the top of the existing measure in the Values area

2. If you have an object set up the way you want, copy and paste the object to replicate it, then using 1 above, drag the new measure onto the existing measure to replace it.

Post a file with explanation of what is needed if this is not helping.

Cheers
