Opening a Power BI Desktop data model in Excel 2016

Postby ce77 » Thu Oct 25, 2018 9:04 pm

Hi Matt,
I have tried to do what you describe here

https://exceleratorbi.com.au/power-bi-d ... ory-usage/

Everything goes well but the pivot table remains blank. I see the table in the memory usage part, so it seems excel notices the pbi file but the pivot statys empty and when I refresh it tells me
that the initialization of the data source failed. I have 1 and only 1 PBI Desktop file open and already did the privacy thing to ignore

Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks a lot
Francesco
