Hi,

So basically, what i want to do is multiply 3 columns within themselves the thing is for a row in column 1 it has to be multiplied with the set before the row in question for column 2 and the set of rows after the column in question for column 3, I don’t know if I explained my problem properly but basically this is what I want to do. for the first row.

the middle.

The last row . For my dax measure I tried with the following command

But it gave me this error.

For the ones that do not speak French it states that the context where I put earlier does not exist

My index column is a dax measure that I wrote to make calculation easy for me.

I don't really understand, but you may find this article I wrote a couple of weeks ago useful - it seems like the principles are similar. You may be able to work it out from there.

this is very tough - I guess you know that already. I have no idea what that formula does but I know a lot about Power Pivot. I am willing to try to help you if you work with me on the problem. Please do the following.

1. create a sample excel workbook that contains the sample data.
2. load the data input data you have into power pivot.
3. build a regular Excel solution so I can see how it works in Excel.

I will take a look and let you know if I have any questions/follow up tasks.

you find in this link file sample1 content data base with pivot table :

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lgnd3- ... sp=sharing

and here the file result content the function that we need to solve using DAX :

Thanks for answering,
The sample 1 file contains all the data-base and the pivot table that I have been working on, it is 100% functional and there is no error in there, in the file result there is a column that I named (this is the result that it should give) if you double click on any cell in that column you’ll get all the cells that are involved in the calculation and hence that function that I have send you before….. my problem is to create a dax measure that would do that calculation for me.
