Dot. vs Comma

Postby TomeX » Sat Sep 05, 2020 5:03 am

Hi,
I have a problem with numbers imported as a text.
In Query designer (Power Pivot) numbers are with comma like this 68011,547889
When Query saved, numbers in final table are with dot. 68011.547889
Querry:
"
WITH MEMBER [Measures].[Kwota1] AS [Measures].[OW-OM], FORMAT_STRING = "#,##"

SELECT NON EMPTY {[Measures].[Kwota1]} ON COLUMNS FROM [FK] CELL PROPERTIES VALUE, BACK_COLOR, FORE_COLOR, FORMATTED_VALUE, FONT_NAME, FONT_SIZE, FONT_FLAGS
"
So the problem is that numbers with dot. are treated as Text not number.
Thanks in advance
T

That code looks like MDX to me. What tool are you using to import the data? If you are using Power Query (if not, you should be), you can simply removed the commas during data load
