Dividing two columns in power pivot - aggregate not working in pivot table

Postby chriswei » Fri Sep 25, 2020 5:01 am

Hey, I want to divide two columns in powerpivot. In powerpivot itself it divides it properly but when creating a pivot table from the data it's not correct. I used =divide(a,b)
a=dollars
b=active customers

I assume this is because of the aggregation that happens when creating a pivot table from the data.

Normally this problem is caused by aggregation happening first. This article should help you conceptually. https://exceleratorbi.com.au/use-sum-vs-sumx/
