Pivot Table with last date transactions

Postby ricafonyat » Tue Nov 28, 2017 1:37 pm

Dear members,
Let me know if you can help me with a solution.
My data model has two tables.
One Date Dimension Table & One transaction table.
Inside the fact table there are many transactions with different dates.
MY goal is to show in a pivot table all the records of the last date transactions.

How can achieve that?

Thanks a lot

There are a few ways, but probably the easiest and maybe even most efficient is to add a calculated column to your calendar table something like this. I think this will work

IsLastDate = if(Calendar[Date]) = lastdate(TransactionTable[Date]),TRUE(),FALSE())

You can then filter on this column in your pivot.
