Simple DAX formula help

Postby ierosadopr » Mon Sep 02, 2019 11:33 pm

Assuming I have the following 4 columns in my PIVOT table:

account | months | sales | transactions

I need to a new column that counts the total number of month that appear on the pivot results per account.

I currently have this, measure1:=COUNTROWS(ALLSELECTED(Table[date (Month)]))

But this counts the months for all accounts.

I need this on a per-account basis :(

Sorry, I literally just started using DAX a few days ago.

Hi,

I think you need the =COUNTROWS(Table) instead, and then bring in your 'Account' field as a filter context. I've attached an example.

Thanks, Jonny
