Convert Nested subheadins to column

Postby monkeymagik » Tue Sep 24, 2019 2:57 pm

I have a software report from a vendor in the following form:
||Description |Unit price ||
||Product Family 1| null ||
||Product 1 |$1000||
||Product 2 |$1500||
||Product Family 2| null ||
||Product 1 |$1000||
||Product 2 |$1500||

How can I move the sub headings into a column of their own? Do I need to edit the source table? Or is there a technique to do it in PowerQuery?

I converted your data into a table first.
Please look into the attached file if this is what you want
