Row()

Postby kt2019 » Tue Dec 17, 2019 7:12 am

Hi,

I am new to power pivot/Dax , so please forgive me if I have some unrealistic or dump questions.

I am comparing between two rows from the sale order field. If the first row = second row, then set value from Refe column to 0, if not then set to 1
I have google but got no luck, can you please help?
Thanks

Not even sure the concept of row exist...

The only solution I see is to create 2 measures & compare them.

like fuel use of cars.
then fuel use of red cars, & fuel use of blue cars,
finally compare red cars to blue ones...

This problem can be solved in Power Query before loading the data into the data model. The trick is to use "Nested Index", which I learnt from Matt Allington in his Power Query Online Training course.

Please find the solution in the attached sample workbook.
